OUR PURPOSE IS TO ENCOURAGE PEOPLE TO READ THEIR BIBLES, REFLECT ON WHAT IS READ, AND RESPOND WITH GOD-DIRECTED ACTION.

REFLECTING AND RESPONDING TO GOD’S WORD

Statement of Faith

statement.png

We believe the Bible to be the inspired, the only infallible, authoritative Word of God

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

We believe in the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.

We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful people, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is absolutely essential.

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.

  DAILY REFLECTIONS SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

WHAT IS IT? It is a program to provide scholarship grants to young adults who were raised in a Christian Orphanage in Haiti. Many orphans in Haiti never began primary school until they were between 10-12 years old or older. As a result, they were young adults before they could begin high school if they could afford it. They live in a country where only about 20 per cent of eligible students enroll in high school and fewer than five percent of young people graduate from high school. It is a great advantage to have a high school education in Haiti; this allows for the possibility of college attendance and/or better employment. It also helps to prepare people to serve God better in many ways.

Daily Reflections offers the students raised in this particular Orphanage an opportunity to enroll in a scholarship program that will pay their tuition, books and school supplies while they attend high school. The scholarship is renewable each year if their meet the requirements of the scholarship program. The requirements include:

           A. The student must have maintained acceptable results at the end of the last  school year.

B. The student must enroll for full time student status for the school year.

C. The student must maintain acceptable school work while in scholarship status.

D. The student must agree to read the Bible on a required reading schedule and log the results and have a Church Leader check their progress each month.

E. The student must share one lesson learned in their Bible reading each week with a Church Leader.

F.  The student must attend Church on a regular basis and be involved in some  type of ministry activity.

G.  The student must perform some type of work or task on the Campus where they live that is beneficial to the Residents residing there. No pay should be expected

for this work.

We currently have seven students enrolled in the Daily Reflections Scholarship Program for the 2024-2025 school year. Your donations to Daily Reflections enable us to help these young people to be prepared to live successful lives and have hope for a bright future.
